About Tasnia
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
I was drawn to this work by a gap I saw firsthand: a lack of culturally attuned mental health care for the Muslim and South Asian community. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel seen, understood, and supported in being your most authentic self — culture, family, and faith included, not set aside at the door.
Sometimes, the hardships we face can feel like walls with no clear way forward — but I believe there is always a path, even when we can't see it yet. Finding it often starts with an outside perspective: someone who can help you step back, gain clarity, and reconnect with your own strength.
I strive to create an empathetic, nonjudgmental space where you can explore what you're experiencing openly. I see my role as more than a clinician: a sounding board when you need to process, a cheerleader when you need encouragement, and an accountability partner when you're ready to take action. Most importantly, I believe you are the expert on your own life — my role is to walk alongside you as you build self-trust and navigate what's ahead.
“I believe therapy should be a space where you feel seen, understood, and supported in being your most authentic self.”
